This role provides the chance to inspire and educate high school students across Pennsylvania, contributing to a dynamic virtual classroom... environment. • * Responsibilities • Instruction: Deliver high-quality and engaging science instruction to high school students in a virtual format.
• Curriculum Development: Design and implement lesson plans and instructional materials that align with state standards, catering to diverse learning styles. • Assessment: Create and administer assessments to monitor student progress, adapting teaching strategies as necessary. • Technology Utilization: Use virtual teaching tools and platforms to enhance learning experiences and maintain student engagement. • Collaboration: Partner with colleagues, parents, and students to support academic success and address individual learning needs.
• Communication: Ensure clear communication with students, parents, and staff regarding student progress and course requirements. • Professional Development: Engage in ongoing professional development to remain informed about the latest best practices in science education and virtual instruction. • Compliance: Ensure adherence to all state and federal education regulations in teaching activities. • * Qualifications • Bachelor's degree in Science Education or a related field; a Master's degree is preferred.
