Compensation: Up to $58/hr - Based on Experience Connected Health Care, a leading recruitment and staffing firm specializing in Healthcare and Educational Services, is partnering with an Educational Services client to hire a dedicated School Counselor in Las Vegas, NV. This part-time role offers an exciting opportunity to support students' academic, social, and emotional development in a collaborative school environment.
Job Description • Provide individual and group counseling sessions to support students' emotional well-being • Assist students with academic planning, goal-setting, and problem-solving strategies • Address behavioral concerns and collaborate with teachers, parents, and administrators to create solutions • Develop and implement programs that promote student wellness, inclusivity, and resilience • Support crisis intervention efforts and provide immediate assistance when necessary • Participate in IEP and 504 meetings to advocate for student needs • Maintain accurate records in compliance with district and state regulations Education and Certification Requirements • Master's degree in School Counseling, Counseling, Psychology, or related field • Current Nevada licensure/certification as a School Counselor (required) • Previous experience in a school or child-focused setting preferred • Strong communication and interpersonal skills • Ability to work part-time with consistency and professionalism Why Choose
