Job Description
A contract position is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist specializing in telespeech services. This role supports students in a school setting through remote speech therapy sessions, providing critical communication development assistance.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver telespeech therapy to students in compliance with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
- Assess, plan, and implement speech and language interventions tailored to individual student needs.
- Maintain detailed documentation of therapy sessions and progress reports.
- Collaborate with educators and support staff to enhance student communication skills.
- Utilize teletherapy platforms and technology effectively to engage students remotely.
- Qualifications:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathologist licensure eligible for practice within the state.
- Experience providing telespeech therapy services, preferably in educational settings.
- Strong understanding of speech and language development and disorders in children.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently in a remote service delivery model.
