VocoVision is seeking a dedicated Special Education Teacher to join our innovative virtual education team serving elementary students in the Concord area. As a leader in teletherapy and virtual special education services, we connect exceptional educators with students who need their expertise, regardless of geographic barriers.
Position Details
Ā Full-time position (37.5 hours per week)
Ā Elementary grade levels (K-5)
Ā Support for students with varied exceptionalities
Ā Caseload of approximately 40-50 students
Ā Virtual instruction and case management
Ā Focus on supplemental academic support and specialized instruction
Core Responsibilities
Ā Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) tailored to each student's unique learning needs
Ā Create engaging virtual lesson plans that accommodate diverse learning styles
Ā Conduct regular progress monitoring and adjust instruction accordingly
Ā Collaborate with general education teachers, related service providers, and families
Ā Maintain accurate records and complete necessary documentation
Ā Facilitate IEP meetings and communicate student progress to all stakeholders
Ā Implement positive behavior support strategies through a virtual platform
Required Qualifications
Ā Master's degree in Special Education or related field
Ā Active New Hampshire special education teacher licensure
Ā Minimum 2 years of school-based special education experience
Ā Proficiency with educational technology and virtual learning platforms
Ā Strong understanding of special education laws and regulations
Ā Experience with differentiated instruction and accommodations
Ā Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ā Reliable internet connection and dedicated workspace
