Job description: The Center for Instruction, Technology and Innovation (CiTi BOCES) is seeking New York State Certified Teachers to join the Synergy Virtual Tutoring Service team. This is a unique opportunity for individuals who are passionate about education and possess the flexibility to thrive in a dynamic virtual learning environment. As a virtual tutor, you will play a crucial role in delivering personalized one-to-one or small group live virtual tutoring sessions to students during the school day or after school.Responsibilities:
- Conduct live virtual interactive tutoring sessions in a synchronous videoconferencing environment
- Adapt teaching methods to suit a virtual learning environment
- Engage students in meaningful learning experiences
- Track student progress and communicate effectively with students, guardians, and school districts
- Foster a positive and engaging learning environment in a virtual community
- Science 7-12 (Dual certification a plus)
- Social Studies 7-12
- Math 7-12
- English 7-12
- Spanish 7-12
