Role Overview
L.I.T.E. is seeking a Marketing Lead to own and execute our brand visibility strategy. This is a leadership-level volunteer position for someone who wants to build and shape the public presence of a growing nonprofit from the ground up.
This role has decision-making authority within scope.
- Core Responsibilities
- Develop a focused 90-day marketing strategy aligned with annual organizational goals
- Create and manage a content calendar (social, email, promotional campaigns)
- Clarify and strengthen brand messaging and positioning
- Support promotion of events and partnership initiatives
- Track and report engagement metrics monthly
- Collaborate cross-functionally when initiatives overlap
- Ideal Background
- Experience in marketing, communications, brand strategy, or digital marketing
- Ability to think strategically, not just execute posts
- Strong writing and messaging skills
- Organized, self-directed, and comfortable in early-stage environments
