As a key member of our leadership team, you'll be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive customer experience strategy that drives effortless experiences for our customers, agents, and partners. Your expertise will help us create a seamless and personalized experience that sets us apart in the industry. **About the Role** As the VP, Underwriting Operations and Customer Experience Transformation Leader, you'll lead our customer advocacy and customer-focused efforts to deliver outstanding experiences that live up to our brand promise. You'll work closely with our leadership team to develop, implement, and evolve our digital experiences at key points within the customer lifecycle. Your focus will be on creating a best-in-class customer experience that meets the evolving expectations of our users and partners. **Key Responsibilities** * Develop and execute a comprehensive customer experience strategy that drives effortless experiences for our customers, agents, and partners * Lead the development of CX programs, including customer success, agent experiences, and underwriting operations * Establish high-impact relationships with leaders inside and outside the organization to ensure excellent customer experiences and outcomes * Manage key relationships with vendors, customers, agents, internal stakeholders, and arenaflex team members * Foster collaboration within the team and across customer lifecycle support areas * Work with Directors to position the team for changing dynamics and advocate for the needs of the team to manage timelines and deliverables for organizational goals * Coach team members on team building, support, and team execution * Develop, implement, and curate the overarching customer and agent experience, including effortless experiences, responsive self-service, and personalized interactions * Use data to inform the development of processes to ensure we're delivering on analytics and meeting customer expectations * Establish and measure metrics and extensive business KPIs to drive growth and future lines of business * Inspire customer success across the company, aligning with all levels of leadership and teams to drive company-wide understanding of what defines customer and company success **The Right Candidate** * Bachelor's Degree in a related field (e.g., business, marketing, operations, or a related field) * 5+ years of experience in a senior operating role leading as a Director, VP, or Executive level for customer-facing organizations * 10+ years of overall P&C Insurance Industry experience * Proven track record of leading senior leaders and driving results * Executive presence, business acumen, and drive strategy and deliverable outcomes * Ability to manage influence through persuasion, negotiation, and consensus building * Advanced knowledge of the insurance industry, including workers' compensation * Excellent process management and data analysis skills * Strong empathy for customers and team members, and a passion for revenue and growth * Deep understanding of value drivers in recurring revenue business models * Analytical and process-oriented mindset * Demonstrated desire for continuous learning and improvement * Enthusiastic and creative leader with the ability to inspire others * Excellent communication and presentation skills **What We Offer** * Competitive cash compensation ($195,000 - $250,000 USD) * A piece of the pie (in the form of equity) * Comprehensive health plans * Generous PTO * Future-focused 401k match * Generous parental and caregiver leave * A dynamic and inclusive work environment that reflects our core values * Opportunities for professional growth and development * A chance to make a meaningful impact in the insurance industry **Work Environment and Culture** At arenaflex, we're committed to creating a work environment that's inclusive, diverse, and supportive.
