JOB SUMMARY
Work in a Sysco warehouse and be a critical member of the foodservice supply chain. Warehouse Selectors pick orders for delivery to foodservice venues in the local community.
Ā Active, physical role that includes operating an electric pallet jack, and/or forklift
Ā Organizing and palletizing product to build customer orders
Ā Other duties as assigned.
Safe working environment, working in areas with temperature and humidity variations based on local weather conditions and type of product being selected (i.e., non-refrigerated, refrigerated, and frozen.)
Minimum Requirements
Ā Must be at least 18 years of age.
Ā 0 Ā 1 Year relevant work experience.
Ā Frequently lift product that weighs 10lb - 75lbs and up to 100lbs.
Ā Frequently reach up to 72 inches.
Ā Constantly bend and twist while operating an electric pallet jack or forklift, retrieving products from lower shelf areas.
Ā Work in very extreme temperatures (cooler and/or freezer).
Ā Work on your feet for 10 Ā 12 hours daily.
Preferred Requirements
Ā 1 year experience operating an electric pallet jack or forklift.
Ā 1 year of warehouse, military, or physically active job experience.
Ā 1 year Selection Experience.
Ā 2 years consistent work history preferred.
