You will help drive data-informed decision making across 500+ public-facing digital properties, ensuring accurate analytics tracking, insightful reporting, and improved user experiences for millions of citizens. This is a remote position supporting a mission-driven organization, with a strict 35-hour workweek for work-life balance.Key Responsibilities
  • Partner with the Digital Service team to understand analytics requirements and implement best-in-class tagging strategies.
  • Define best practices in analyzing online user behavior, configuring analytics tools, and interpreting findings.
  • Write technical and functional site analytics requirements for digital properties.
  • Develop custom JavaScript/JSON for analytics tracking as needed.
  • Lead regular tagging audits to ensure data accuracy and compliance.
  • Provide technical expertise to development leads and project managers, including estimates and recommendations.
  • Run scheduled analytics reports, providing meaningful insights to improve user experiences.
  • Conduct ad-hoc reporting and analysis to support stakeholder needs.
  • Maintain documentation including data dictionaries and analytics requirements.
  • Mandatory Qualifications
  • 8+ years in reporting, analytics, and technical implementation.
  • 4 5+ years managing enterprise-class analytics platforms (Google Analytics 360, GA4, Web Trends).
  • Hands-on experience with Google Tag Manager (GTM), Tealium, and platform migration projects.
  • Strong custom reporting, advanced segmentation, and goal configuration skills.
  • Intermediate Excel skills for combining multi-source data into cohesive reports.
  • Excellent communication skills for collaboration with leadership and stakeholders.
  • Understanding of agile practices and modern development methodologies.
  • Preferred Qualifications
  • 8+ years in digital software development.
  • Strong passion for data-driven UX optimization.
  • Experience with A/B testing, multivariate testing, and related best practices.
