Job Description
Core Rebuild Items
1. Product Page Architecture Rebuild
Goal: Make product pages support evaluation, not just documentation.
Developer Tasks:
Rebuild product templates to support:
Structured spec sections (not PDFs only)
Application fit / non-fit sections
Clear product family differentiation
Create reusable product page components:
Feature summary blocks
“Is this right for you?” logic sections
Evaluation CTAs (config check, application review, etc.)
Ensure clean, scalable URL structures by product family (ICs, Drives, Amplifiers, Controllers, Dev Kits)
2. Evaluation-Focused Datasheet Delivery
Goal: Datasheets should accelerate decisions, not stall them.
Developer Tasks:
Redesign datasheet download flows:
Gate downloads behind lightweight evaluation CTAs (no hard sales gate)
Add post-download next-step logic
Create CMS fields to:
Associate datasheets with product families and applications
Track which pages and CTAs triggered downloads
Ensure PDFs are contextualized within pages (not dead-end links)
3. Comparison & Differentiation Infrastructure
Goal: PMD must control the comparison narrative instead of leaving it to the buyer.
Developer Tasks:
Build comparison page templates:
Product vs product (within PMD)
PMD vs alternative approaches (e.g., closed-loop stepper vs servo)
Enable structured comparison tables using CMS data
Ensure comparison pages are indexable and internally linked from product pages
4. Evaluation-Stage CTAs (Pre-Sales)
Goal: Stop forcing users into “Contact Sales” too early.
Developer Tasks:
Implement new CTA types:
Application fit check
Configuration validation
Evaluation request (not demo request)
Support conditional CTAs based on page type and product family
Ensure CTAs route to the correct downstream system (HubSpot or forms)
5. Analytics & Evaluation Tracking
Goal: Tie technical evaluation behavior to revenue.
Developer Tasks:
Implement event tracking for:
Datasheet downloads
Comparison views
Evaluation CTA interactions
Ensure events are cleanly passed to analytics / CRM
Avoid vanity metrics; track only evaluation-relevant actions
6. CMS & Backend Cleanup
Goal: Make the site maintainable as PMD scales content.
Developer Tasks:
Normalize content types for:
Product families
Applications
Technical resources
Remove legacy page structures that force redirects or flatten content
Ensure developers can add new products without rebuilding templates
7. SEO-Safe URL & Redirect Management
Goal: Rebuild without breaking existing traffic or authority.
Developer Tasks:
Audit current URLs and redirects
Implement structured redirects where pages are replaced
Ensure canonical URLs are correct post-rebuild
