Job title: WorkForce Software (WFS) Functional Consultant (Absence Management) Job Summary: Next Generation, Inc, an Equal-Opportunity Employer, is seeking an experienced WorkForce Software (WFS) Absence Management Functional Consultant to support the design, configuration, and implementation of the Absence Management module. The ideal candidate will have a deep expertise in WFS Absence Management, a strong understanding of global or U.S. leave policies, and the ability to translate business requirements into functional solutions within the WorkForce Software platform. Job Responsibilities: β€’ Support the implementation of WorkForce Software Absence Management module β€’ Gather and document business requirements related to time off, leave absence, FMLA, sick leave, PTO and other absence policies. β€’ Configure WFS Absence Management based on business requirements and compliance needs β€’ Partner with cross-functional (HR, Payroll, Timekeeping) to ensure seamless integration of absence rules and policies β€’ Analyze and troubleshoot issues related to leave calculations, workflows, accruals, and eligibility. β€’ Conduct user acceptance (UAT), provide training, and create end-user documentation β€’ Stay current with regulatory and statutory leave laws to ensure ongoing compliance in system configuration β€’ Support go-live activities and provide knowledge transfer to internal teams. Job Qualifications: β€’ Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems or related field. β€’ 3+ years of functional experience with WorkForce Software, specifically. Iin Absence Management β€’ Proven experience configuring absence rules, eligibility criteria, accruals and leave workflows within WFS. β€’ Strong knowledge of U.S. leave policies, including FMLA, state-specific programs, and disability β€’ Experience working with HR, Payroll, and IT teams on cross-functional initiatives β€’ Excellent communication and documentation skills β€’ Ability to work independently and in a team environment with minimal guidance β€’ Knowledge of data flows between WFS and HCM/Payroll systems (eg Oracle, SAP Workday) β€’ WorkForce Software certifications, particularly in Absence Management β€’ Experience with Agile project methodology is a plus β€’ Familiarity with Time & Attendance is a plus Job Benefits: Competitive FTE salary range based on experience, education, and geographical location of $100,000 - $120,000 USD base.
