Job Description
We are a busy local auto dealership receiving a very high volume of WhatsApp inquiries daily, along with email leads from ads, website forms, and referrals. We are looking for an experienced automation specialist to design and implement an AI-powered WhatsApp + Email customer management and lead qualification system that: • Instantly responds to WhatsApp and email inquiries • Qualifies leads automatically (budget, financing readiness, vehicle type, urgency) • Nurtures leads via intelligent email follow-bolthires • Routes high-intent leads to our sales team • Reduces response times, missed messages, and manual workload
This role requires real AI automation, not basic autoresponders or generic drip emails.
Key Responsibilities WhatsApp Automation • Set up or optimize WhatsApp Business API • Build an AI chatbot trained on our dealership data (inventory, pricing, financing options, FAQs) • Design smart lead qualification flows (cash vs financing, budget ranges, trade-ins, timeline) • Implement human handoff for hot leads • Ensure WhatsApp policy compliance Email Automation • Design automated email response and nurturing sequences • Create intelligent follow-bolthires based on lead behavior and qualification level • Segment leads (hot / warm / cold) and personalize messaging • Integrate email automation with WhatsApp activity and CRM data Systems & Integration • Connect WhatsApp + Email to our CRM / bolthires Sheets / lead database • Recommend and implement best-practice automation workflows • Set up tagging, tracking, and reporting • Document workflows and provide basic team training
Required Skills & Experience • Proven experience with WhatsApp Business API automation • Experience with tools such as ManyChat, WATI, Chatfuel, Respond.io, Twilio WhatsApp, SleekFlow • Experience with email automation platforms (ActiveCampaign, HubSpot, Mailchimp, Klaviyo, GoHighLevel, etc.) • Strong understanding of AI-powered chatbots and lead qualification • Experience building multi-channel automation workflows • Bonus: Experience with auto dealerships, car sales, or financing businesses What Success Looks Like • 90%+ of WhatsApp and email leads receive instant responses • Leads are clearly segmented and scored automatically • Sales team engages only with qualified, high-intent prospects • Increased appointment bookings and follow-bolthires • Reduced manual customer management workload Project Type • Initial system setup & deployment • Ongoing optimization and automation support (preferred long-term partnership) Budget Flexible, based on experience and proposed solution.
