Wikipedia-Compliant PR Writer & Media Placement Specialist (Manufacturing / Metal Fabrication)
We are looking for an experienced writer and PR professional who understands how to create Wikipedia-compliant, neutral third-party articles and successfully place them in reputable industry and media publications.
The primary goal is to build independent secondary sources that can support the creation and approval of a Wikipedia page for our company.
Scope of Work:
Research and write non-promotional, editorial-style articles about our company and industry
Ensure all content follows Wikipedia guidelines (neutral tone, verifiable, no marketing language)
Secure placement in reputable third-party publications, such as:
Metal fabrication trade publications
Manufacturing industry outlets
Business/technology media platforms
Collaborate on a strategy to build credible, citable sources over time
Advise on best practices for Wikipedia page approval and compliance
Requirements:
Proven experience with Wikipedia guidelines and content standards
Strong understanding of notability and reliable sourcing requirements
Experience placing articles in third-party publications (earned media preferred)
Background in manufacturing, industrial, or B2B sectors is a plus
Ability to provide examples of published articles and placements

Articles must be independent and non-promotional (not press releases)
We are not looking for low-quality backlinks or sponsored content farms
Preference will be given to candidates with real editorial placement experience
