About the position
- Responsibilities
- Participate in projects related to 5G technology and network performance optimization.
- Engage in radio frequency design and management tasks.
- Work with Network Functions Virtualization (NFV) and Software Defined Networking (SDN).
- Utilize business analytics and programming skills in Java and Python.
- Conduct data warehousing tasks using SQL and database query tools.
- Collaborate with team members using tools like Grafana and GitHub.
- Requirements
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, Information Technology, Data Analytics, Data Science, or related fields.
- Good academic standing with a completion date between December 2026 and June 2028.
- Ability to participate in a hybrid 10-week internship from June 2, 2025, to August 8, 2025.
- Confirmed attendance at the Women of Color STEM DTX Conference from October 3-5, 2025.
- Authorization to work in the U.S. without restrictions or need for future sponsorship.
- Coursework or demonstrated experience in waveforms and radio frequency spectrum.
- Nice-to-haves
- Demonstrated strong written and communication skills.
- Experience with Microsoft Office and/or Google Suite.
- Knowledge of filters and signal modulation.
- Understanding of WIFI, wireless, or modern communication networks.
- Knowledge of radio signal propagation and electromagnetics.
