Role Description
This is a part-time remote role for a Women's Wear Designer. As a Women's Wear Designer, you will be responsible for creating techpacks and assisting with fit comments to factories.
You will work alongside the creative director in developing the collections.
This is a contract / part time role, paid hourly $40- $70 / hr.
Rate is based on your experience.
- We are looking for a technically experienced designer who can take a sketch and create a techpack efficiently with direction. Who can also take fit notes and make comments to send to factories.
- Please note we will request examples of your techpack work and we will review your technical ability.*
This is a role that can grow into full time.
Please note we are based in Austin, Texas.
- Qualifications
- Fashion Cad's by Illustrator, is a must
- Knowledge and experience with Textiles and their application in design
- Techpacks
- Understanding of measurements and spec sheets
- Experience in Product Development, from concept to final product
- Excellent attention to detail and creativity
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a remote environment
- 3 years fashion design experience is a must.
