Job Description
I am launching a premium U.S.-based skincare and research peptide brand and need an experienced WooCommerce developer to build a clean, high-converting website.
This is NOT a basic hobby store. We operate in a restricted / high-risk niche and need someone who understands compliance, payment processor setup, and conversion-focused design.
Scope of Work:
- Install and configure WordPress + WooCommerce
- Set up Astra (or similar lightweight premium theme)
- Build 7–9 page site structure (Home, Shop, Product Pages, About, Lab Testing, FAQ, Contact, Policies)
- Create clean, premium layout suitable for luxury skincare positioning
- Optimize checkout for high conversion
- Integrate high-risk payment processor (I already have one)
- Configure backup payment gateway
- Set up email capture (Klaviyo integration preferred)
- Optimize site speed
- Mobile-first design
- Basic on-page SEO setup
- Ensure compliance-friendly structure (no exaggerated claims, proper disclaimers placement)
Brand Direction:
Premium, clean, minimal aesthetic.
U.S.-based lab testing emphasized.
High-trust, science-backed positioning.
Think: elevated, modern, clinical — not spammy supplement site.
Requirements:
- Proven WooCommerce experience
- Experience with restricted / high-risk products (supplements, peptides, CBD, etc.)
- Strong portfolio (please include 2–3 relevant examples)
- Understanding of conversion rate optimization
- Ability to complete within 10–14 days
Bonus (Not Required but Preferred):
- Experience setting up multiple payment processors
- Experience with email flows in Klaviyo
- Familiarity with compliance requirements in regulated industries
