Job Description
Overview:
We are looking for a proactive and highly skilled Webmaster & CMS Developer to join our team for a long-term collaboration. You will be responsible for the technical health, maintenance, and ongoing development of our ecosystem, primarily built on WordPress and Shopify.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintenance: Perform regular updates, security patches, and backups.
- Performance: Optimize Core Web Vitals, page speed, and server-side performance.
- Development: Build new features, customize themes (PHP/Liquid), and manage API integrations.
- Troubleshooting: Identify and fix bugs, broken layouts, or plugin conflicts autonomously.
- QA Support: Work closely with our QA team to ensure all deployments are stable.
Crucial Availability:
We operate in the GMT-5 (Bogota/Lima/Mexico City) time zone. We require a developer who can cover the night shift (6:00 PM to 6:00 AM GMT-5).
Note for candidates in Asia/Europe: This shift aligns perfectly with your standard daytime working hours!
Technical Requirements:
- Expertise in WordPress (Advanced PHP, Custom Themes, ACF).
- Experience with Shopify (Liquid, App integrations).
- Strong knowledge of HTML5, CSS3 (Sass/Tailwind), and JavaScript.
- Familiarity with hosting environments (AWS, DigitalOcean, or similar) and Git.
Ability to work independently without constant supervision.
