Job Description
I run a WooCommerce store using the Hongo theme and the Woo Variation Gallery plugin. I’m looking for a developer I can work with long-term for small frontend fixes and improvements. Work will be intermittent and each task will be a fixed-price milestone.
The first issue I need help with involves the product gallery using the Slick slider. On some iOS devices (especially Facebook in-app browser), the gallery slide width is calculated incorrectly so the product image does not use the full available width.
Details:
WordPress + WooCommerce
Hongo theme
Woo Variation Gallery plugin
Slick slider gallery
The slider track width appears correct but the .slick-slide width is smaller than the viewport on some mobile environments.
I’ve already inspected the DOM and confirmed it appears to be related to Slick’s width calculation during initialization.
For this job I’m looking for someone who:
Is comfortable debugging CSS/JS issues in WordPress themes
Has experience with WooCommerce product galleries
Can troubleshoot Slick slider behavior
This will start with fixing the gallery issue, and if things go well I’d like to continue working together on small improvements and fixes to the site over time.
