Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Job Title: Remote Intervention Specialist Location: Remote (Serving K12 students in Ohio) Employment Type: Full-Time 1099 Contract Key Responsibilities: β’ Provide virtual specially designed instruction in accordance with students Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) β’ Develop and implement IEPs in compliance with Ohio Department of Education guidelines and IDEA β’ Conduct assessments to determine eligibility, monitor student progress, and guide instructional planning β’ Collaborate with general education teachers, related service providers, and families to support inclusive practices β’ Facilitate and participate in virtual IEP meetings, progress reviews, and parent conferences β’ Maintain accurate and timely documentation including IEPs, progress reports, service logs, and communications β’ Adapt curriculum and instructional materials to meet the diverse needs of learners β’ Use digital tools and learning platforms to deliver instruction and manage student data β’ Participate in professional development and stay current with state and federal special education regulations Required Qualifications: β’ Valid Ohio Intervention Specialist License (Mild/Moderate, Moderate/Intensive, or other applicable endorsement) β’ Bachelors or Masters degree in Special Education or related field β’ Experience teaching or supporting students with disabilities (virtual experience preferred) β’ Strong knowledge of special education laws and compliance in Ohio β’ Excellent written and verbal communication skills β’ Ability to work independently and manage a virtual caseload effectively β’ Reliable internet connection and a professional home office setup Preferred Qualifications: β’ Experience with virtual learning platforms (e.g., Google Classroom, Zoom, ClassDojo, Canvas) β’ Knowledge of assistive technology and online accommodations β’ Familiarity with data collection and progress monitoring tools (e.g., ProgressBook, Frontline, IEP Anywhere) β’ Strong organizational and time-management skills β’ Experience supporting students with autism, ADHD, learning disabilities, and emotional/behavioral needs What We Offer: β’ Fully remote position with flexible scheduling options β’ Supportive virtual team environment β’ Access to curriculum tools, resources, and ongoing training β’ Competitive pay β’ Meaningful work impacting the lives of students across Ohio Apply tot his job
