The Wolfram Institute is seeking a talented Writer in Residence to bridge complex scientific concepts with engaging narratives. Join our team to explore the computational frontiers of physics, mathematics, biology, and computer science through writing.
- What you'll do
- Produce articles, essays, and multimedia content on topics related to our research output and writings from https://writings.stephenwolfram.com/
- Collaborate with researchers to distill technical ideas for broad audiences.
- Contribute to blogs, newsletters, and public outreach initiatives.
- Qualifications
- Strong writing portfolio in science, technology, or philosophy.
- Familiarity with computational thinking or Wolfram technologies (e.g., Mathematica) beneficial, not required.
- Excellent communication skills and a passion for making the abstract accessible.
- Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States to work from a U.S. location. International consultants must have the required authorization to work in their country of residence.
