Hello,
I am currently preparing a YouTube narration channel aimed at Japanese seniors aged 60 and above.
I would like to request design work that matches the overall atmosphere of the channel.
The work I would like to request includes the following three items:
1. YouTube Channel Banner
2. Channel Icon
3. Thumbnail Template Design

I would like the banner to have a calm and emotional atmosphere that feels comfortable for Japanese senior viewers.
- Concept:
- Similar to the atmosphere of a Japanese drama poster
- A feeling that matches themes such as life stories, family, regret, and personal realization
- Not too flashy or overly stimulating
- Warm and trustworthy mood
- Design direction:
- Based on real-life photography (Japanese middle-aged or senior people)
- Example scenes: near a window, walking path, inside a home, sunset, or a quiet street
Color tone:
Warm and soft tones such as
beige, ivory, brown, and soft gray.
- Layout:
- Background image + channel name text
- Background should not be too busy so the text remains easy to read
- Overall feeling should be elegant, calm, and refined
Please design according to the YouTube banner size guidelines.
[2. Channel Icon]
For the channel icon, I would like a simple and easily recognizable design.
- Direction:
- Calm style suitable for a senior audience
- Not overly complicated
- Must be clearly visible even at small sizes
- Examples:
- A symbol related to books or narration
- A simple symbol representing life stories
- Or an icon based on the channel name initials
It would be great if the colors match the tone used in the banner.
[3. Thumbnail Template]
The thumbnail should be designed as a reusable template for future videos.
- Structure (important):
- Split layout (left and right)
- Left side:
- Area for a character/person image
- Slightly blurred or emotional atmosphere
- Similar to a scene from a drama
- Right side:
- Large title text area
- Text should be large and easy for seniors to read
- Strong contrast for good readability
- Thumbnail style:
- Similar to Japanese drama / life story channels
- Not overly exaggerated like typical YouTube thumbnails
- Should convey emotional storytelling
File format:
Since I will be editing the text myself later,
please deliver the thumbnail template as a **PSD file with organized and editable layers**.
It would be ideal if the template structure allows easy replacement of text and images.
Also, the example text in the thumbnail **can be written in English**.
I will later replace it with Japanese titles myself.
