Job Description
YouTube Editor – Episodic Sports Storytelling Series
We’re launching a new episodic YouTube series built around original sports stories, fictional athletes, and cinematic gameplay. Each episode is designed to feel like a short sports film, following characters, rivalries, and career arcs across multiple sports.
Gameplay footage (EA Sports, MLB The Show, etc.) serves as the visual engine for the stories, combined with narration, music, and stylized visuals to create engaging, story-driven episodes.
The goal is to build a series that feels episodic and narrative-driven, where each video functions both as a standalone story and as part of a larger universe.
Episodes typically run 10–15 minutes.
⸻
Editing Style
The tone should feel fast-paced, personality-driven, and episodic, similar to modern sports YouTube creators who combine gameplay, humor, and storytelling into episodic content.
We are not looking for heavy cinematic filmmaking or excessive visual effects. The focus is story pacing, rhythm, and strong editing instincts. Story drives the edit.

- adding light graphics such as stat overlays or title cards when needed
- . Editors should be comfortable working with a mix of assets including
