Job Description

About Flexzenith Jobmatrixo is a fast‑growing digital entertainment and media company that creates immersive, interactive experiences for audiences worldwide. With a portfolio that spans live streaming, original video content, and community‑driven platforms, Remotifyx is at the forefront of shaping the future of online engagement. Our mission is to foster vibrant, inclusive spaces where fans feel heard, entertained, and connected. As part of this mission, we host regular YouTube livestream events ranging from product launches and panel discussions to live Q&A sessions and community festivals. To keep these experiences lively, authentic, and safe, we rely on skilled moderators who can steer conversation, nurture interaction, and safeguard our brand’s reputation. Why This Role Matters In the age of real‑time digital interaction, the chat experience can make or break a livestream. Our viewers expect a dynamic, welcoming environment where they can ask questions, share insights, and feel part of a larger community. As a YouTube Livestream Community Engagement Moderator at Skillastra, you will be the unseen host, orchestrating the flow of conversation, highlighting audience voices, and quickly addressing any disruptive behavior. Your role directly influences viewer satisfaction, retention, and the overall perception of Nexora’s brand. Key Responsibilities Active Chat Participation: Continuously engage with viewers by posting thoughtful comments, asking open‑ended questions, and encouraging audience members to share their perspectives. Conversation Steering: Guide discussions toward relevant topics, highlight recurring themes, and surface insightful questions for the livestream hosts or presenters. Community Building: Recognize repeat participants, celebrate milestones (e.g., subscriber counts, watch time records), and foster a sense of belonging through personalized acknowledgments. Issue Identification & Reporting: Monitor chat for spam, harassment, hate speech, or any content that violates YouTube’s Community Guidelines and Taskium’s internal policies. Promptly flag and document incidents for the moderation team. Crisis Management: Quickly de‑escalate heated exchanges, apply predetermined response scripts, and, when necessary, mute or remove offending users while maintaining composure. Feedback Loop: Compile post‑livestream reports highlighting chat activity trends, notable viewer feedback, and any recurring moderation challenges. Propose improvements to the pre‑event planning process. Collaboration with Production Teams: Communicate with livestream producers, hosts, and technical staff to align chat themes with on‑air content and ensure seamless integration of audience interaction. Continuous Learning: Stay updated on YouTube policy changes, emerging moderation tools, and best practices for online community management. Essential Qualifications Experience: Minimum 2 years of hands‑on moderation experience on live video platforms (YouTube, Twitch, Facebook Live) or a proven record of managing large‑scale community chats. Communication Skills: Exceptional written communication, with the ability to convey tone, empathy, and professionalism in a fast‑paced chat environment. Tech Savvy: Proficiency with YouTube’s live chat interface, moderation extensions (e.g., Nightbot, Streamlabs), and basic troubleshooting of connectivity or delay issues. Policy Knowledge: Familiarity with YouTube Community Guidelines, COPPA regulations, and general digital harassment policies. Availability: Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and occasional holidays to match livestream schedules across multiple time zones. Attention to Detail: Sharp eye for spotting subtle rule violations and quickly differentiating between genuine user engagement and disruptive behavior. Preferred Additional Qualifications Background in media production, broadcasting, or event coordination. Experience with analytics tools (e.g., YouTube Analytics, Google Data Studio) to interpret chat metrics. Multilingual abilities – fluency in Spanish, French, or other major languages is a plus. Certification in community management, digital safety, or related fields. Prior involvement with influencer marketing campaigns or brand ambassador programs. Core Skills & Competencies Real‑Time Decision Making: Ability to assess situations instantly and choose the most appropriate moderation action. Empathy & Patience: Managing diverse audiences with varying moods while staying calm under pressure. Creativity: Crafting engaging prompts, polls, and trivia that keep chat lively and relevant to the livestream content. Organizational Ability: Juggling multiple moderation tasks—such as comment tracking, user warnings, and reporting—simultaneously. Team Collaboration: Working closely with producers, hosts, and other moderators to maintain a cohesive viewer experience. Adaptability: Adjusting tone and strategy based on the specific audience demographic of each livestream. Career Growth
