They are seeking a Senior UX/UI Designer to lead UX strategy, design high-converting landing pages, and collaborate with teams to enhance the digital experience for customers. Responsibilities • Lead UX strategy, visual design, and interface systems across the entire Alpine website • Design high-conversion landing pages for 100+ HVAC buyer intents • Create the full UI and UX flow for our new System Selector tool (interactive guided buying experience) • Build the Alpine design system (typography, components, responsive structure) • Redesign mobile-first user journeys with clarity, trust, and calmness • Collaborate closely with engineering, product, and leadership to deliver pixel-perfect implementation • Contribute to brand identity refresh and visual storytelling across the site Skills • 5+ years of experience designing complex consumer-facing products or e-commerce experiences • A portfolio showing elegant UX systems, clean visual design, and conversion-focused thinking • Ability to simplify complex decision flows into intuitive user journeys • Strong visual taste and attention to detail • Experience working directly with developers in a product environment • Comfort with iterative design, prototyping, and data-informed decisions • Experience designing guided decision tools or configurators • Experience in home services, e-commerce, or marketplaces • Familiarity with CRO principles Benefits • Group health insurance plus health savings account • 401k • Paid time off • Paid holidays • Life insurance • Short-term disability and more • Paid educational and professional development training • Work-from-home (remote) or hybrid Chicago-based • All computer equipment and training will be provided Company Overview • Founded in 2002, Alpine is a team of forward-thinking innovators working to provide intelligent heating and cooling solutions to homeowners in a way that: * Leads Americans away from using low efficiency and non-renewable HVAC appliances and towards high efficiency and all-electric ones, a key requirement for reducing the country’s dependency on fossil fuels and to slow global warming; * Provides a shopping experience for customers that’s so easy it’s almost fun, having them exclaim “wow!”, enabled through extreme operational competency; and * Prioritizes a harmonious win for all parties mutually: customers, team members, company and the environment.
