Attest BioSciences is hiring a Fractional Chief of Sales & Marketing (CSMO) to help operationalize their go-to-market strategy and drive customer acquisition for their advanced at-home diagnostics. This part-time role will focus on sales leadership, marketing growth, and customer lifecycle management, ultimately transitioning to a full-time executive position after funding. Responsibilities β€’ Operationalize and iterate on Attest’s established GTM strategy across diagnostic product lines β€’ Develop a sales pipeline across DTC and strategic wellness/community partners, leveraging your existing network to accelerate warm introductions, partnership opportunities, and early commercial traction β€’ Build sales infrastructure including CRM systems, dashboards, and reporting frameworks β€’ Collaborate with the CFO on pricing strategy, revenue modeling, and commercialization economics β€’ Lead brand positioning, messaging, and creative direction across channels β€’ Direct DTC acquisition (paid social/search, retargeting, funnel optimization) β€’ Launch awareness and pre-launch campaigns to build traction and waitlists β€’ Build influencer/creator partnerships and community-based outreach programs β€’ Oversee content strategy, social media, and educational marketing β€’ Develop personalized email/SMS flows for education, onboarding, and retention β€’ Create customer journeys that reinforce trust and support repeat testing β€’ Build loyalty and engagement strategies aligned with long-term health monitoring β€’ Partner closely with the CEO, COO/CSO, CFO and other key stakeholders β€’ Provide KPIs and insights for investor updates and fundraising β€’ Help define and recruit the future commercial team post-seed Skills β€’ 5–12+ years in Sales, Marketing, Growth, or Commercial leadership β€’ Demonstrated success in early-stage startup environments β€’ Experience executing and optimizing GTM strategies β€’ Strong DTC acquisition, funnel optimization, CRM, and analytics experience β€’ Proven ability to build partnerships and leverage an existing network for traction β€’ Strong communicator and storyteller β€’ Able to balance strategic leadership with hands-on execution β€’ Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (Marketing, Business, Economics, Data Analytics, or related discipline) β€’ Healthcare, diagnostics, biotech, or wellness experience β€’ MBA Company Overview β€’ Attest BioSciences is dedicated to revolutionizing medical testing, particularly cancer screening, by offering innovative, accessible, and comprehensive at-home testing services directly to consumers.
