Job Description

About the position A re you curious about how powerful computers and AI systems are built β€” from the chips inside to the datacenters that run them? In this role, you'll get hands-on experience designing, testing, and analyzing the hardware and software that make next-generation computing possible. You will be part of a team of engineers who work across multiple domains β€” from processors and memory to cooling systems and automation tools. Together, you'll explore how electrical and computer engineering principles shape the future of high-performance and energy-efficient computing systems. Responsibilities β€’ Help design and test CPU and high speed IO subsystems, learning how to measure and improve performance, power, and reliability. β€’ Work with engineers on system-level validation and automation, creating scripts and tools to streamline testing and data analysis. β€’ Explore emerging IO technologies (like PCIeG6 and 800G Ethernet) and how they support advanced computing workloads. β€’ Support investigations into power, cooling, and energy efficiency, including liquid cooling systems for high-performance processors. β€’ Collaborate across teams to understand how different components β€” from chips to full systems β€” come together in real-world platforms. Requirements β€’ Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD or equivalent experience program in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or a closely related field. β€’ Experience with hands-on lab testing, performing measurements with power meters, oscilloscopes or logic analyzers. β€’ Experience in at least one programming or scripting language (such as Python, C/C++, or MATLAB). Nice-to-haves β€’ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with an interest in understanding how hardware and systems work. β€’ Curiosity about technology beyond the classroom β€” such as personal projects, hackathons, or research work. β€’ An ability to learn new tools and technologies quickly and adapt to complex engineering challenges. β€’ Good teamwork and communication skills, with a willingness to collaborate across fields. Benefits β€’ Regular feedback and development opportunities. β€’ Social activities to connect with peers. β€’ End of internship celebration. β€’ Opportunity to be considered for future Graduate positions (subject to performance). β€’ Competitive salary and rewards package. β€’ On-the-job learning and mentoring/buddy schemes.
