They are seeking an M&A Senior Legal Associate to lead and collaborate on corporate, M&A, and tax matters, advising clients through the business lifecycle and shaping the direction of the practice.
- Responsibilities
- Lead and collaborate on corporate, M&A, and tax matters within the Business Transactions practice group
- Advise founders and executive teams on entity structuring, equity arrangements, and governance frameworks
- Structure, negotiate, and close M&A transactions, reorganizations, divestitures, and strategic partnerships
- Provide tax planning and structuring advice tied to transactions and ongoing operations
- Guide clients through all stages of the business lifecycle — from startup through capital events to exit
- Partner with regulatory, litigation, and advisory colleagues to deliver holistic client solutions
- Support business development, thought leadership, and client education initiatives
- Skills
- 10+ years experience in corporate law, M&A, and tax structuring, ideally gained in a sophisticated legal or advisory environment
- Experience supporting entrepreneurial, financial services, or high-growth business clients
- Strong communicator and trusted advisor with a commercial mindset
- Thought leader in corporate or M&A law — speaking engagements, publications, or leadership roles a plus
- Comfortable leading deal teams and mentoring junior attorneys in a collaborative, remote-first setting
