Regulatory, Policy, and Market Strategy
● Navigate and influence the regulatory and policy landscape including FERC Order 2222, state-level DER programs, and utility interconnection and compensation rules.
● Monitor legislative and regulatory developments that impact VPP economics and proactively position the company to capitalize on favorable policy shifts.
● Represent the company in industry groups, regulatory proceedings, and policy forums as appropriate.
Qualifications
● 5-7+ years of experience in competitive energy markets, VPP operations, DER aggregation and/or grid services monetization.
● Direct, hands-on experience with ERCOT, CAISO, or other major ISO market operations and bidding.
● Proven track record of building and scaling dispatch operations for distributed energy resources.
● Strong understanding of FERC Order 2222, state DER programs, and the evolving regulatory landscape for grid-edge resources.
