Deloitte is a leading Canadian professional services firm dedicated to making a positive impact. In this role, you will assist financial services clients in addressing quantitative challenges using your expertise in AI/ML, particularly in developing and validating Large Language Models.

Responsibilities

Help financial services industry (FSI) clients face quantitative issues with informed confidence
Using your deep technical skills and leveraging our global network of experts, provide professional advice to our FSI clients in a wide range of situations
Develop/validate/review Large Language Models models (LLMs) based on industry best practices
Learn and work in other quantitative and analytical areas such as credit modeling, forecasting and stress testing and customer behavior modeling

Skills

Relevant experience in AI/ML domain
Knowledge of NLP, LLMs (extractive and generative), fine-tuning, development, and deployment of LLM model. Familiar with higher level trends in LLMs and open-source platforms
Creatively solution new features for the clients' Generative AI offerings, including testing, evaluating and benchmarking different LLMs and toolchains
Experience with Langchain and RAG
Demonstrated hands-on experience with Python, Hugging Face, TensorFlow, Keras, PyTorch or similar statistical tools
Solid academic background with a PhD or Master's degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or related field
Exceptional problem-solving abilities, meticulous attention to detail and a talent for logical reason
Curiosity and enthusiasm about new and unfamiliar technologies with ability to learn technical/scientific concepts quickly with minimal direction
