Role: Senior Project Manager Location: 100% Remote Employment Type: Contract Preferred Experience: Previous experience working with Cardinal Health Experience Level: 15+ Years Job Summary We are seeking a Senior Project Manager with extensive experience managing enterprise-level programs within Healthcare, Pharma, or Medical Supply environments. Candidates with prior experience at Cardinal Health or similar healthcare distribution organizations are highly preferred. This role involves end-to-end project delivery, cross-functional coordination, vendor management, and working closely with business & technical stakeholders to ensure on-time, high-quality outcomes. Key Responsibilities • Lead large-scale strategic IT and Business transformation projects. • Develop detailed project plans, timelines, communication plans, and status reporting. • Work with business owners, SMEs, technical teams, and vendors to ensure alignment. • Drive risk management, issue resolution, and change control processes. • Manage budgets, resource planning, procurement coordination, and forecasting. • Facilitate executive-level communication and stakeholder updates. • Ensure compliance with healthcare, data security, and governance standards. Required Experience & Skills • 15+ years of overall IT experience • 8-10+ Years of experience in Project/Program Management. • Experience working with or for Cardinal Health (preferred) - or other major healthcare supply chain / distribution firms (e.g., McKesson, AmerisourceBergen, Medline). • Proven ability to manage multi-workstream or enterprise-wide initiatives. • Strong experience working in cross-functional, matrixed corporate environments. • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple vendors and third-party solution providers. • Excellent documentation, governance, planning, and communication skills. • Experience with Agile, Waterfall, or Hybrid methodologies. • PMP or SAFe certification is a plus (not mandatory).
