- *Job Summary:**
As a Data Analyst on our E2E Transportation team, you'll play a critical role in analyzing and optimizing our transportation network to ensure fast, reliable, and cost-effective delivery to our customers. You'll work with a wide range of data sources, including our global data warehouse, customer and driver applications, and external data providers. Your expertise will help us make data-driven decisions that impact our business and drive growth.
- *Key Responsibilities:**
- **Data Analysis and Insights:** Design and implement data analysis and reporting to support business decisions, including: + Developing and maintaining dashboards and metrics to track key performance indicators (KPIs) such as delivery speed, cost, customer satisfaction, and transportation efficiency.+ Conducting ad-hoc analysis and reporting to support business initiatives and special projects.+ Identifying trends and patterns in data to inform business decisions.
- **Data Visualization and Storytelling:** Create compelling data visualizations and stories to communicate insights and recommendations to stakeholders, including: + Developing interactive dashboards and reports to support business decisions.+ Creating data visualizations to communicate complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders.+ Presenting findings and recommendations to senior leadership and other stakeholders.
- **Data Quality and Governance:** Ensure data quality and integrity by: + Collaborating with data engineers and data scientists to design and implement data pipelines and data quality checks.+ Developing and maintaining data governance policies and procedures.+ Identifying and resolving data quality issues.
- **Collaboration and Communication:** Work closely with cross-functional teams to: + Develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders to understand business needs and requirements.+ Collaborate with data engineers and data scientists to design and implement data solutions.+ Communicate data insights and recommendations to stakeholders.
- *Essential Qualifications:**
- **Bachelor's Degree:** In a quantitative field such as mathematics, statistics, computer science, or engineering.
- **Data Analysis Experience:** 2+ years of experience in data analysis, data science, or a related field.
- **Technical Skills:** Proficiency in SQL, data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI), and programming languages (e.g., Python, R).
- **Communication Skills:** Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders.
- *Preferred Qualifications:**
- **Master's Degree:** In a quantitative field such as mathematics, statistics, computer science, or engineering.
- **Data Science Experience:** Experience with machine learning, deep learning, or natural language processing.
- **Cloud Computing Experience:** Experience with cloud-based data platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure).
- **Certifications:** Certifications in data science, data engineering, or related fields (e.g., Certified Data Scientist, Certified Data Engineer).
