Job Title: ODC Consultant – Sales & Distribution (HR & Performance Consulting)

Location - Remote

Job Summary The ODC Consultant – Sales & Distribution (HR & Performance Consulting) is responsible for driving business growth and delivering consulting solutions focused on sales effectiveness, distribution performance, and organizational capability building. This role blends business development with functional consulting, helping clients enhance sales productivity through coaching, assessments, and organizational development interventions.

The consultant works closely with leadership teams, HR stakeholders, and sales functions to design and implement performance-driven solutions, often leveraging behavioral science and industrial-organizational psychology principles.

Key Responsibilities

Business Development & Client Engagement

Identify and develop new business opportunities in sales transformation, distribution effectiveness, and HR consulting services.

Build and maintain relationships with CHROs, Sales Heads, and business leaders.

Lead client conversations to diagnose performance gaps and position tailored solutions.

Manage the full sales lifecycle: lead generation, proposal development, pitching, negotiation, and closure.

Consulting & Solution Design

Assess client needs related to sales force effectiveness, distribution strategy, and organizational performance.

Design and recommend solutions such as:

Sales capability building programs

Leadership coaching interventions

Behavioral and competency assessments

Organizational effectiveness frameworks

Collaborate with internal experts (e.g., psychologists, trainers, HR specialists) to co-create customized offerings.

Program Delivery & Implementation

Oversee execution of consulting engagements, ensuring alignment with client objectives.

Facilitate workshops, coaching sessions, and assessment feedback discussions.

Support change management initiatives to drive adoption of new processes and behaviors.

Performance & Insights

Analyze sales performance metrics and organizational data to generate actionable insights.

Measure effectiveness of interventions and recommend continuous improvements.

Develop reports and presentations for client stakeholders.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Business, HR, Psychology, or related field (Master’s/MBA preferred).

3–10 years of experience in business development, consulting, or HR advisory roles.

Strong understanding of sales processes and distribution models across industries.

Exposure to HR consulting, talent development, or organizational effectiveness.

Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.

Ability to translate business challenges into consulting solutions.

Preferred Skills

Background in industrial-organizational psychology or behavioral sciences.

Experience in coaching, assessments, or leadership development programs.

Familiarity with psychometric tools and competency frameworks.

Experience working with global or large enterprise clients.
