What to Expect (Job Responsibilities) As a Data Entry Representative at arenaflex, you'll be responsible for: * Organizing and inputting patient demographic information, schedules, and charges into our practice management system * Monitoring and correcting errors in the practice management system to ensure accuracy and efficiency * Verifying the accuracy and completeness of demographic information and charges to prevent errors and discrepancies * Reconciling charges received to patient logs to ensure accurate billing and payment processing * Communicating with facilities and clinics to obtain necessary information and resolve any issues that may arise What Is Required (Qualifications) To be successful in this role, you'll need: * A high school diploma or equivalent * A minimum of 3 years' experience with insurance billing requirements and account follow-up procedures * A general understanding of ICD9 and CPT coding * Proficiency in practice management systems and general computer applications * Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications) While not required, the following qualifications will make you a strong candidate for this role: * Knowledge of medical terminology and healthcare billing processes * Previous experience in a similar healthcare administrative role * Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and patient privacy protocols * Excellent written and verbal communication skills * Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively
