Job Summary We're seeking an experienced Customer Service Representative to, working from home to provide exceptional support to our customers. As a key member of our customer service team, you'll be responsible for answering questions, resolving issues, and providing customized interactions that create an emotional connection with our customers. Key Responsibilities * Answer questions and resolve issues as a single-point-of-contact for plan sponsors, members, and providers, providing customized interactions based on customer preference and individualized needs. * Build trusting and caring relationships with customers, understanding their needs and engaging them to the fullest. * Anticipate customer needs, providing related information to answer unasked questions and enhance the overall customer service experience. * Utilize customer service threshold framework to make financial decisions to resolve member issues.

* Educate and assist customers on various elements of benefit plan information and available services, such as member self-service tools, consultation opportunities, bolthires of care tools, and natural alternatives program. * Take ownership of each customer contact to resolve their issues and connect them with additional services as appropriate. * Identify member needs beyond the initial inquiry, answering unasked questions and resolving issues without or with limited management intervention. * Provide education to members to support them in managing their health, responding quickly to meet customer needs and resolve problems while avoiding over-committing.

* Process claim referrals, new claim hand-offs, and escalate issues as appropriate through the system for grievances and appeals. * Initiate outreach/welcome calls to ensure constituents' expectations are met or exceeded, identifying trends and emerging customer service issues and working to develop solutions to address potential problems. * Partner with other departments to deliver client-specific presentations, coordinating efforts both internally and across departments to successfully resolve service issues and develop process improvements.

Essential Qualifications * Customer service experience in a transaction-based environment, such as a call center or retail location, demonstrating ability to be empathetic and compassionate. * Effective organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks. * Effective communication skills, both verbal and written. * High school diploma required. Preferred Qualifications * Experience working in a health care environment or with health care-related products and services. * Knowledge of health care benefits and services, including plan details and member self-service tools.

* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handling multiple customer interactions simultaneously. * Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with ability to think critically and make sound decisions.
