Job Summary We're seeking an experienced Full Stack Data Engineer to of data science and engineering experts. As a Lead Big Data Engineer, you'll be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying large-scale data analytics solutions that meet the needs of our business stakeholders.
You'll work closely with our data science team to develop data pipelines, data warehouses, and data lakes, and collaborate with our engineering team to integrate data analytics into our cloud-based infrastructure. Key Responsibilities * Design and develop large-scale data analytics solutions using Big Data technologies such as Hadoop, NoSQL, and text mining * Collaborate with data science team to develop data pipelines, data warehouses, and data lakes * Work with engineering team to integrate data analytics into cloud-based infrastructure * Develop and maintain data models, data dictionaries, and data governance policies * Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business requirements and develop data-driven solutions * Develop and maintain data visualizations, reports, and dashboards to support business decision-making * Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and trends in Big Data and data analytics Planning and Implementation * Aid in the definition of software architecture to ensure that our data analytics solutions are built on a scalable and maintainable foundation * Collaborate with the development team to design and implement data pipelines, data warehouses, and data lakes * Execute models to manage web-scale data and its association * Execute systems that illuminate data planning and engineering, working with industry-standard tools and technologies * Help develop documentation that ensures consistency across our data analytics solutions * Carry out and improve core software infrastructure * Foster intelligent dashboards, reports, and investigation formats * Carry out and uphold a platform that can provide impromptu access to large datasets Scope of Work * Translate key requirements to ensure that effective solutions meet business needs * Provide guidance on complex projects * Review and approve details to ensure consistency in approach and use * Help partners as a technical and business-savvy resource to software development teams on a range of software design issues * Perform system and application performance portrayal and compromise studies through analysis and reproduction * Research upgrades in coding guidelines About You * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience * Broad understanding of software development and design * Proficiency in at least one of the following languages: Java, Scala, Python * Experience with Big Data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, and NoSQL databases * Demonstrated ability to collaborate with teams and partners to improve overall functional development of Big Data ecosystem * Broad experience in functional aspects of complete Big Data stage like monitoring and alert management, availability, capacity management, and service management * Collaborative person that can partner and work with a global team * Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) compliance What We Offer * Competitive salary and benefits package * Opportunities for professional growth and development * Collaborative and dynamic work environment * Recognition and rewards for outstanding performance * Access to cutting-edge technologies and tools * Flexible work arrangements and remote work options * Comprehensive training and development programs If you're passionate about working with Big Data and data analytics, and you're looking for a challenging and rewarding career opportunity, we encourage you to apply for this role.
