Job Overview
This is a full-time position based in one of our arenaflex warehouses, sort centers, delivery stations, or other operational facilities. As an Area Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team of 50-100 arenaflex partners, ensuring that they have the tools and support needed to succeed, and driving the team to meet targeted objectives. You will be the primary point of contact for your team, conveying policies, maintaining compliance, and taking corrective action when necessary.
Your expertise will be crucial in fostering a culture of safety, quality, and excellence within the team. Key Responsibilities Mentor, manage, and develop a team of 50-100 arenaflex partners to achieve operational excellence Convey policies to your team and act as the primary source of information, ensuring compliance and consistency Develop, implement, and maintain recognition programs to motivate and reward team members Support all safety programs and OSHA compliance to ensure a safe working environment for all partners Collaborate with the supervisory team to establish and maintain quality control standards Develop performance objectives and targets to achieve customer demand and ensure accuracy and quality Work Environment As an Area Manager, you will be working in a fast-paced and dynamic warehouse environment, where standing, walking, and having on-the-floor conversations are common.
You will be required to access all areas of the building, which may include climbing and descending ladders, stairs, and ramps safely and without obstruction. You should be willing and able to work shift designs that may include evenings, weekends, and holidays, as well as be flexible to adapt to changing business needs. Physical Demands
The physical demands of this role include: Standing and walking for up to 10-12 hours Accessing all areas of the building, including climbing and descending ladders, stairs, and ramps Walking in and around all areas of the warehouse with high frequency Twisting, lifting, stretching, and reaching both below the waist and above the head Lifting and moving items up to 49 pounds Essential Qualifications To be considered for this role, you should have: A bachelor's or graduate degree with all requirements completed between May 2022 and August 2024 Strong communication skills, both verbal and written Ability to motivate others in a deadline-centered environment Capacity to evaluate and dive deep into data to provide insightful, practical business solutions Proven track record of taking ownership and driving results Preferred Qualifications While not essential, the following qualifications are preferred: Currently enrolled in or recently graduated with a Bachelor's or Graduate degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, Hospitality, or a related field Interest in pursuing a career in Operations, Supply Chain Management, or large team management
