The Role Summary

The Revenue Management Analyst works on a fast-paced team whose duties encompass demand forecasting, sales optimization, and reading adjustments in market situations including capacity, competition, schedules, and fares. The Revenue Management group makes selections in the development, implementation, and monitoring of suitable stock allocation techniques and offer guidelines to generate revenue and push the business forward. Key Responsibilities In the entry-level position, you'll expand skillability in Revenue Management Systems, including demand forecasting, elasticity, and marginal revenue transformation, and offer input into the design and implementation of techniques to optimize revenue.

In the intermediate level, you'll use a strong expertise of revenue management concepts to analyze market situations, regulate overbooking levels and historic no-shows, extract applicable business statistics from dashboards, databases, and Revenue Management Systems to enforce revenue-optimizing techniques, and communicate techniques and outcomes to senior management. In the senior level, as a subject matter expert in reading adjustments in market situations, you'll follow deep understanding to decide on an approach to ambiguous business challenges, be responsible for meeting/exceeding unit revenue goals and KPIs, create system improvements, and exercise significant judgment on stock approach selections that you'll communicate across the company.

Professional 1) Required: Bachelor's degree with a focus in business administration, economics, statistics, mathematics, business engineering, or a related discipline, or 2 years of experience in analytics or a related position in lieu of this degree. Expertise with data analysis programs (e.g., Excel, SQL, Alteryx, or Tableau).
