As a Customer Service Specialist, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our clients, resolving customer issues, and ensuring that our customers receive the highest level of service. This is a remote position, and the ideal candidate will be able to work independently and effectively communicate with customers and internal teams.
Training and Onboarding
Our training program is designed to equip you with the skills and knowledge necessary to succeed in this role. You will participate in a comprehensive training program that includes both classroom and on-the-job training. The training program will cover topics such as: * Customer service principles and best practices * Pharmaceutical distribution operations * Product knowledge * Communication skills * Conflict resolution * Time management and productivity Responsibilities As a Customer Service Specialist I, you will be responsible for: * Providing exceptional customer service to our clients, including responding to customer inquiries, resolving customer issues, and escalating complex issues to management * Initiating monthly service calls to low-volume accounts in the local geographic area * Updating customers on new programs, promotional activity, products, and services * Assisting customers with problems such as missed shipments, price adjustments, and backorders * Working with field sales associates to coordinate special orders, accept quotations, and communicate with manufacturers * Processing all phone, fax, mail, email, and verbal orders from customers * Providing customers with accurate answers to questions and complaints regarding products and services * Performing data entry for purposes such as processing orders, accessing previous orders, and providing customers with current prices * Assisting customers with backorders by offering substitutions and alternatives whenever possible * Communicating with all departments within the Distribution Center and field sales associates * Serving as a liaison between customers and field sales associates * Making suggestions and recommendations to management in an effort to continually improve customer service operations Requirements To be successful in this role, you will need: * A broad training in fields such as business administration, accountancy, sales, marketing, computer sciences, or similar vocations * A four-year Bachelor's Degree program, technical vocational training, or an equivalent combination of experience and education * Less than one (1) year directly related experience * Strong customer service skills * Strong interpersonal skills * Good decision-making skills * Good analytical skills * Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing * Ability to resolve customer issues quickly and creatively in order to improve customer satisfaction * Familiarity with ABC products, services, and pharmaceutical distribution operations * Strong organizational skills; attention to detail * Basic knowledge of bolthires Word, Excel, and inventory management system Preferred Qualifications * Bilingual (Spanish) skills are highly preferred but not required * Experience working in a call center or customer service environment * Knowledge of pharmaceutical distribution operations and products * Experience working with inventory management systems Work Environment

Schedule
This is a full-time position, and the ideal candidate will be able to work a standard Monday-Friday schedule with rotational on-call support required.
