Job Overview We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Insurance Customer Service Representative to.
As a key member of our insurance customer service team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional support to our members, responding to their inquiries, and providing personalized solutions to their insurance needs. This is a fully remote, full-time position, and you will be working on the 1st shift. Key Responsibilities Answers incoming phone calls to process address change requests, claim-related calls, and payments, and learns how to counsel clients on procedural matters affecting claims.
Processes discounts received through email or mail, using judgment to apply effective dates and ensuring proper documentation is received. Assists in researching premium differences to identify the origin of the difference, obtains information from master files, selling agents, and/or insurance companies to resolve discrepancies, and develops an understanding of the theory of rating. Contacts insureds to explain premium differences and adheres to arenaflex's Five Diamond
Advanced Plus service standards in handling customer inquiries.
Processes returned mail received from insureds and insurance companies, strives to obtain working knowledge of the impacts of errors, and corrects errors on returned mail in a timely and effective manner. Develops strong computer skills utilizing insurance software and the bolthires Office platform, and develops technical knowledge of the insurance industry and complete familiarization with arenaflex's policies and procedures. Adapts a Five Diamond Service attitude, focusing on building strong customer relationships and delivering exceptional support to our members.
Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need: A High School Diploma or GED, and attainment of a P&C License is required within two years of job entry. Experience in a customer service environment is preferred, and you should be able to demonstrate a strong commitment to delivering exceptional support to our members. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with our members, colleagues, and other stakeholders. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple responsibilities.
Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex issues and develop effective solutions. Preferred Qualifications While not essential, the following qualifications are preferred: Previous experience in the insurance industry, with a strong understanding of insurance products and services. Knowledge of insurance software and systems, with the ability to quickly learn new technologies. Strong technical skills, with the ability to develop and maintain complex spreadsheets and reports.
Experience working in a remote environment, with the ability to self-motivate and manage your time effectively.
