Sectech Solutions is seeking a highly skilled Data Architect/Solution Architect hybrid to lead the design, integration, and transformation of their finance data ecosystem. This hands-on technical role will influence ERP replacement, data fabric modernization, and financial reporting transformation. Responsibilities β’ Support and eventually backfill the Finance Data Architect for: β’ Semantic models for finance reporting β’ Future Enterprise Data Warehouse β’ ERP replacement program β’ Design and refine backend finance data models, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and scalability β’ Understand and model financial structures including general ledger, chart of accounts, insurance & reinsurance data, and accounting flows β’ Ensure finance data is usable for reporting, forecasting, and regulatory purposes β’ Lead integration design across SAP, Workday, data fabric, and downstream applications β’ Define and optimize end-to-end data pipelines and transformation flows β’ Understand how financial data aggregates through the data pipeline - and how this differs across policy, reinsurance, actuarial, and finance processes β’ Contribute to re-architecting legacy applications as part of broader modernization efforts β’ Recommend integration patterns (APIs, events, fabric links, batch pipelines), explaining technical trade-offs β’ Produce high-quality architecture deliverables including solution diagrams, data flow maps, and integration blueprints β’ Partner with engineering, cloud, and data teams to drive design decisions β’ Support cloud migration initiatives through data flow mapping and integration guidance β’ Communicate architecture options clearly, presenting pros/cons to technical and business audiences β’ Participate in business architecture discussions where process and data intersect β’ This role is not purely conceptual -
