Job Description

Investment Group is seeking a highly analytical and strategically minded Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) to lead financial due diligence, valuation modeling, and investment analysis across two core verticals: early‑stage and growth‑stage startups and commercial real estate (CRE) acquisitions. This role is ideal for a candidate who thrives in dynamic environments, can synthesize complex financial and operational data, and provides clear, actionable insights to support high‑stakes investment decisions.

The CFA will work directly with senior leadership, legal teams, lenders, and external partners to evaluate opportunities, mitigate risk, and drive disciplined capital deployment. Key Responsibilities Start‑Up & Venture Evaluation • Conduct comprehensive financial analysis of early‑stage and growth‑stage companies, including revenue modeling, burn‑rate analysis, unit economics, and scenario planning. • Perform valuation assessments using DCF, comparables, precedent transactions, and venture‑specific methodologies (e.g., VC method, scorecard, Berkus).

• Assess business models, market size, competitive landscape, and operational scalability. • Evaluate management teams, governance structures, and risk factors. • Prepare investment memos and present findings to the Investment Committee. Commercial Real Estate Acquisitions • Underwrite CRE acquisitions across asset classes (multifamily, mixed‑use, industrial, office, hospitality). • Build and maintain detailed pro forma models, including cash flow projections, IRR/NPV analysis, sensitivity testing, and debt‑service coverage evaluations.

• Conduct market research, rent studies, and comparable sales analyses. • Coordinate due diligence: financial audits, environmental reports, zoning, title, surveys, and engineering assessments. • Support negotiations with sellers, brokers, lenders, and legal counsel. Portfolio & Risk Management • Monitor performance of existing investments and provide periodic reporting to leadership and investors. • Identify operational, financial, and market risks and propose mitigation strategies. • Track KPIs and develop dashboards for ongoing portfolio oversight.

Strategic & Cross‑Functional Collaboration • Work closely with legal, development, and operations teams to ensure alignment between financial assumptions and real‑world execution. • Support capital raising efforts through data‑driven presentations, investor materials, and financial narratives. • Maintain strong relationships with lenders, equity partners, and external advisors. Qualifications • Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation required. • Active registration and good standing with the CFA Institute.

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Real Estate, or a related field. • 3–7+ years of experience in investment analysis, venture evaluation, private equity, or commercial real estate underwriting. • Advanced proficiency in financial modeling (Excel), valuation techniques, and scenario analysis. • Strong understanding of capital markets, debt structures, and investment risk frameworks. • Exceptional communication skills with the ability to translate complex data into clear recommendations.

• Detail‑oriented, intellectually curious, and comfortable working in a fast‑paced, entrepreneurial environment. Apply tot his job
