St. Luke’s Health System is Idaho’s largest employer and most awarded health system, currently seeking a board certified/board eligible internist to join their team in Mountain Home, Idaho. The role involves providing a broad scope of services including the diagnosis and treatment of various medical conditions, and physicians have the option to admit their own patients or have hospitalists assume inpatient care. Responsibilities • Join a team of dedicated and compassionate primary care providers • Provide a broad scope of services, including diagnosis and treatment of heart disease, hypertension, kidney disease, gastrointestinal problems, allergies, cancer, anemia, and lung problems • Manage infections, neurological problems, nutritional problems, depression, skin disease, diabetes and thyroid disease • Option to admit own patients or have contracted hospitalists assume inpatient care Skills • Board certified/board eligible internist • Ability to diagnose and treat heart disease and hypertension • Ability to diagnose and treat kidney disease • Ability to diagnose and treat gastrointestinal problems • Ability to diagnose and treat allergies • Ability to diagnose and treat cancer • Ability to diagnose and treat anemia • Ability to diagnose and treat lung problems, such as asthma and emphysema • Ability to manage infections • Ability to diagnose and treat neurological problems, such as strokes and seizures • Ability to diagnose and treat nutritional problems • Ability to diagnose and treat depression • Ability to diagnose and treat skin disease • Ability to diagnose and treat diabetes and thyroid disease Benefits • Highly competitive guaranteed base salary with potential production and quality incentives • Generous recruitment incentives could include sign on bonus, student loan repayment, training stipend and relocation • Hospital employed with great benefits, retirement, malpractice, vacation and CME allowance • Medical education opportunities teaching med students and residents • On-site massages • On-site counseling via our Employee Assistance Program • Access to the Virgin Pulse Wellness tool • Other formal training and career development offerings to ensure you are meeting your career goals Company Overview • St.
