Compensation: Equity-based (no salary for 3 initial months)About the StartupWe are an early-stage InsurTech startup building an AI-powered software platform to help insurance agents automate daily tasks and enable customers to easily understand, compare, and manage insurance policies.We are currently in the MVP development stage and are looking for part-time AI Engineers who can contribute consistently while balancing other commitments.Role OverviewAs a Part-Time AI Engineer, you will contribute to building specific AI features and modules rather than owning the entire platform.
You will work closely with the founder(s) and core team on well-defined tasks related to AI, automation, and intelligence. Important Note:
This role does not offer immediate monetary compensation. Contributors will receive equity or profit-sharing after product validation, funding, or revenue generation. This role is ideal for: • Professionals working full-time elsewhere • Freelancers or consultants seeking long-term upside • Engineers interested in startup exposure and equity Time Commitment • ~10 20 hours per week (flexible) • Fully remote • Deliverable-based contributions
Key Responsibilities • Develop AI/ML features for insurance-related use cases • Assist in building: • Conversational AI / chatbots for agents and customers • Document processing (policy documents, claims, forms) • AI-powered recommendations and insights • Support data preparation, model training, and testing • Integrate AI components with backend APIs • Improve model performance and reliability over time
