Environmental Engineer or Scientist Intern needed for a 12-week paid summer program in Hartford, CT, focusing on site investigation projects. Your Role Here’s what you will be doing: • Assist in monitoring and ensuring compliance with environmental regulations and permits • Conduct environmental site assessments and inspections • Support the preparation of environmental reports and documentation • Collect and analyze environmental samples (e.g., soil, water, air) • Conduct environmental impact assessments (EIA) and risk analyses • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate environmental considerations into project designs About You
The company is looking for: • Pursuing a degree in environmental engineering, geology, hydrology, or a related field • 3.0 GPA or higher • Proficiency with MS Office programs • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Ability to lift up to 30 lbs.
of equipment • Experience with AutoCAD is a plus
