Conduct initial assessments of patients to determine their mental health needs and develop individualized treatment plans. Provide individual and group therapy sessions to patients with mental health challenges, utilizing evidence-based practices and techniques. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care for patients. Monitor and track patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed to achieve desired outcomes. Educate patients and their families about mental health disorders, treatment options, and healthy coping strategies.

Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient interactions, treatment plans, and progress notes. Adhere to ethical and legal standards in all interactions with patients and their information. Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient care and make recommendations for treatment. Stay current with the latest research, trends, and best practices in the field of behavioral health. Continuously evaluate program effectiveness and make suggestions for improvements. Provide crisis intervention and support to patients in acute distress.

Advocate for patients’ needs and rights within the healthcare system. Collaborate with community resources and refer patients to appropriate services as needed. Maintain a positive and professional demeanor while working with patients and colleagues. Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.
