Job Description Summary
This role is responsible for statutory financial filings including statutory audits with internal and external partners and oversee transactional taxes’ filings and assure local compliance for the entities in scope. Responsible for driving technical accounting compliance, financial and operational internal controls, process simplification, and operational excellence to deliver accurate actual financial reporting and analysis. Impacts quality of own work and the work of others on the team.
Focused on execution of standard enabling activities/provision of advice subject to policy and work routines within an enabling discipline. Job Description Roles and Responsibilities • Support to complete statutory financial statements in compliance with local regulations, internal and GAAP polices. • Complete or lead to complete external audits required PBC by cooperation with cross functional teams include tax, business line finance, COE team. • Liaise with external auditors to answers their queries, timely close audit pending items.
• Support STAT HFM and SAP dual ledger (L1)entry postings, tie to expected local FS. • Work on legal entity-level S2G (Stat to GAAP) adjustments, including analysis and efforts to minimize reconciling items. • Support Grid tax team on legal entity tax computations, filings and audits. • Oversee region transactional taxes (VAT) filings and assure local regulators’ compliance. • Provide necessary financial data/ information when required, and to ensure external reporting accuracy. • Develop basic understanding of key business and financial drivers, report potential financial risks, internal control issues timely to region stat & tax controller.
• Support to do process improvement in stat financial reporting & indirect tax process, SOP documentation. Required Qualifications • Master degree, major in accounting and financial management from an accredited college or university • Overall 2-3 years finance working experience mainly in GL and or tax function. • CPA, ACCA preferred, must have junior accounting certificate • Proficient in English communications Desired Characteristics • Good knowledge of accounting principles (IFRS/GAAP/local accounting standards and legal requirements).
• Familiarity with SAP, HFM, or other financial reporting tools is a plus. • Strong Excel skills and ability to work with large datasets. • Good communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration with internal teams and external stakeholders. • Analytical mindset and a proactive attitude towards problem-solving. • Ability to manage time effectively and handle multiple priorities.
