Remote Customer Service Agent.
About the Role We're seeking highly skilled and experienced remote customer service agents to handle both phone and email support for our various clients. As a valued member of our team, you'll have the opportunity to work from the comfort of your own home, with a flexible part-time schedule that includes 20-25 hours per week, Monday to Friday, from 12:00pm to 5:00pm EST. Our ideal candidate is someone who is technically savvy, has excellent communication skills, and can thrive in a fast-paced, metrics-driven contact center environment.
Key Responsibilities: Receive incoming calls, emails, and live chats for both Tier 1 and Tier 2 type questions, resolving concerns, questions, or assisting with using a product. Provide medium to light tech support to assist callers with password resets or locating purchased items via client site. Recommend additional products and services based on customer need and request. Recommend system improvements based upon knowledge of system issues. Service a diverse range of clients, including financial firms, ecommerce shippers, medical professionals, non-profits, and tradesmen.
What We're Looking For We're looking for candidates who embody our 3 A's: Attendance, Attitude, and Aptitude. If you have a proven track record of adhering to these principles, we want to hear from you. Our ideal candidate has: At least 2-3 years of experience working in a work-from-home, remote call center environment with a separate office space setup and no background noise. Technical savviness to assist members with varying degrees of computer and smartphone issues, as well as self-correcting your own computer issues.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to operate in a high-volume, metrics-driven contact center environment. Ability to listen actively to sensitive information and maintain confidentiality. A strong "phone voice" with proper diction and the ability to "hear you smile." Experience with InContact, Zendesk, Slack is beneficial but not required. Bilingual in Spanish is a major plus. System Requirements: To succeed in this role, you'll need: A dedicated remote working space with no background noise.
The ability to run CHROME browser with VPN connection and no less than 10mbps internet download speeds, as well as a compatible hotspot should internet outages occur.
