Job Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Data Entry and Administrative Support Specialist to on a contract basis. As a remote worker, you will play a vital role in supporting a telecommunications company in its joint pole inventory management process. This entry-level position will involve managing pole data between the telecommunications company, 3rd party attachers, and power companies, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in data entry and management.
Your exceptional communication skills and ability to escalate issues to the client/engineer when discrepancies arise will be essential in this role. Key Responsibilities Manage pole data between telecommunications companies, 3rd party attachers, and power companies Enter data accurately and quickly into databases, ensuring attention to detail and adherence to quality standards Escalate issues to the client/engineer when discrepancies in data are identified, providing effective solutions and support Assist team leadership in tracking data pertinent to the process, providing administrative support and ensuring seamless operations Utilize databases and search for information within them, demonstrating proficiency in data management and analysis Provide exceptional communication and customer service skills, both written and verbal, to internal and external stakeholders Qualifications and Skills To be successful in this role, you will require: Computer experience with bolthires Windows XP, Excel, Word, and Outlook, demonstrating proficiency in bolthires Office applications Good communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively communicate with internal and external stakeholders Personal time management and organization skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously
The ability to use databases and search for information within them, demonstrating proficiency in data management and analysis
The ability to input data accurately and quickly, with attention to detail and adherence to quality standards Experience or familiarity with NJUNS, ALDEN ONE, SPANS is preferred, but not necessary, with a willingness to learn and adapt to new systems and technologies Essential Qualifications In addition to the above skills and qualifications, the ideal candidate will: Have a high school diploma or equivalent, with a strong foundation in mathematics and computer science Have a minimum of 1-2 years of experience in data entry, administrative support, or a related field, demonstrating a strong understanding of data management and analysis Have excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze data, identify discrepancies, and provide effective solutions Be able to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong commitment to collaboration and teamwork
