The role involves designing and implementing complex cloud solutions on AWS, contributing to pre-sales activities, and leading cloud migration initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of AWS cloud infrastructure, data solutions, and DevOps practices. Responsibilities β€’ Design, architect, and implement scalable, secure, and highly available AWS cloud infrastructures β€’ Lead cloud migration initiatives from on-premises to AWS β€’ Optimize cloud infrastructure for performance, bolthires, and security β€’ Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or CDK β€’ Design multi-account AWS architectures using AWS Organizations and Control Tower β€’ Implement disaster recovery and business continuity solutions β€’ Design and implement data lakes, data warehouses, and analytics solutions on AWS β€’ Work with AWS data services including Redshift, bolthires, Glue, EMR, Kinesis, and Lake Formation β€’ Develop data migration strategies and execute large-scale data migrations β€’ Implement real-time and batch data processing pipelines β€’ Design data governance and security frameworks β€’ Establish and implement DevOps best practices and bolthires/CD pipelines β€’ Automate infrastructure provisioning and application deployment β€’ Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions using CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, or similar tools β€’ Design and implement containerization strategies using ECS, EKS, or Fargate β€’ Establish GitOps workflows and version control best practices β€’ Lead application modernization initiatives including lift-and-shift, re-platforming, and refactoring β€’ Design microservices architectures and serverless solutions β€’ Provide technical guidance on application migration to AWS β€’ Implement API management and integration solutions β€’ Architect cloud-native applications using AWS services like Lambda, API Gateway, Step Functions, and EventBridge β€’ Provide technical leadership and guidance on AWS implementations β€’ Collaborate with client stakeholders to understand business and technical requirements β€’ Deliver technical documentation and best practice recommendations β€’ Support knowledge transfer and training initiatives Skills β€’ Minimum 20 years of overall IT experience β€’ 10+ years of hands-on experience with AWS cloud services and solutions β€’ US-based candidate required β€’ Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience) β€’ Strong scripting skills (Python, Bash, PowerShell) β€’ Experience with infrastructure as code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation, CDK) β€’ bolthires/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab bolthires, GitHub Actions, CircleCI) β€’ Configuration management (Ansible, Chef, Puppet) β€’ Containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes) β€’ Version control systems (Git) β€’ Database administration and SQL expertise β€’ Excellent verbal and written communication skills β€’ Strong client-facing and presentation skills β€’ Ability to translate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders β€’ Proven project management and leadership capabilities β€’ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills β€’ Ability to work independently and as part of a team β€’ Experience mentoring junior team members β€’ Strong documentation skills β€’ AWS Certified Solutions Architect –
