We’re an interior design studio based in St. Thomas, USVI. We’re moving logistics off an internal role and need an expert to help us choose the best path forward. What We Need Listen to how we work now and what is and isn’t working Map options clearly, including: Freight forwarder vs. receiving warehouse Ocean shipping with Crowley vs. Tropical How to separate shipping charges by client and PO How to hand off to our USVI customs broker Identify the best South Florida receiving partner (and origin options if needed) Do vendor outreach: request rate sheets, learn their process, ask our key questions, and report back Compare pros and cons, price ballparks, timelines, and risks Advise on practical next steps to implement the workflow Must-Have Experience FF&E or similar project freight South Florida receiving/export and ocean handoffs Knowledge of customs and excise tax issues in USVI Engagement Advisory only, short-term, hourly Start ASAP via Zoom calls and quick summaries Apply tot his job Apply tot his job
